We saw a spider on a shrub near our house the first weekend we moved in, and she remembers it (fondly, apparently), and now EVERY time we walk by, she yells "CAN WE SEE THE SPIDER DADDY?!?!?!?!".
At this age, she has only two tones of voice: 1. Yelling, and 2. Sleeping.
Moments after being released from a time out for throwing her book down when she was asked to put it on the shelf, she immediately threw it back down in defiance, then looked right at me and said "Time out daddy", and put herself in the corner.
Dahlia stumbled across her old teething toy, Sophie Giraffe, today. She looked deep into Sophie's eyes for a moment, seemingly making the connection that she knew this giraffe a long time ago...then she apparently did the math, realized that means it's only been a few months, and tossed Sophie aside, only to pick up a purple bunny and proclaim "puh poh, PUH POH!!!" Instead of "purple, PURPLE!!!".
